What is Chabad of the Main Line?
The light in a child’s eyes when he or she reads their first Hebrew word. The warmth of community and spiritual life. Stoking the flame of Jewish pride in young families just starting out. Nurturing the whole child, igniting intellectual curiosity, and fostering independence. A helping hand in times of need. Chabad is a home away from home for every Jew in the Main Line. We are dedicated to serving our community - and now we’re asking for your support to help us build a bright Jewish future, together.
How does a Match Campaign work?
Running an operation like Chabad of the Main Line requires a major investment of time, energy, and capital. While our Rabbis and Rebbetzins work tirelessly to ensure that no Jew is left behind, the day-to-day expenses of operating a Chabad center can be daunting. Rather than charging exorbitant membership fees or event prices, which could alienate some people, we rely on the generosity of the community that we serve. To that end, several generous donors have come forward with a proposal to help Chabad thrive this year. They will double each dollar donated during this campaign from 9:00 AM Wednesday, May 3rd until 9:00 PM Thursday, May 4th. For these 36 hours only, your dollar will have THREE times the impact!
How can I help?
You can be a partner in everything we do to benefit the residents of the Main Line by contributing to our campaign and by spreading the word.
